The Park
THE PARK & GARDENS
In the heart of nature
The park and gardens have been landscaped since 1980 by the previous owner, a landscape gardener, in keeping with the site’s role as a nursery and breeding ground for anatidae and parkland birds. The park’s slopes and drains allow water from watering and rainwater to flow directly back into the ponds.
THE PARK
In the heart of nature
The current owner, who has a passion for stone, nature and green spaces, has collected rare species of exotic birds, anatidae and parkland birds here. He has continued to restore and modernise the farmhouse and grounds.
The autumn prunings produce a mulch that is used as humus in the flower beds. The garden is worked in ‘free nature’ mode. Several ancient stone fountains adorn the exterior.
The Natural Richness of the Park
This is a true ‘natural area’.
The different types of soil and the water features mean that a particularly wide variety of natural flora and fauna has developed here over time.
